Although it’s considered illegal to download music. And apparently always will be (at least until record labels die of lack of funding) we should take a new stance.
I say we cover all the music we can! And modify it some what while playing it to not only ‘make it better’ but it distribute it under our own free-download license.
Or, we burn many many copies of the cd we bought. (legally) And we give them to friends who do the same for their friends.. etc.. etc…
Globally, it’d be super sluggish, but it could work.
using the internet and a mailing system (such as gmail) You’d need only request which cd you’d like to listen to.. and the person could rip the cd onto their computer and send it over in a .rar file. Legally that’s how you do it.
I often wonder.

I’ve decided to start video blogging as well as regularly blogging. I did it quite often with my own wordpress blog waay back when. And I figure that now since I’m going to be using this mac permanently (or at least until I get a much better mac) I should enjoy it as much as possible and do all the things I can do that it’s built to do.
This includes getting my hands on a copy of Final Cut Studio, CS2, etc…
And many many other things.
